Rhubato

~Rhubato~
Fusion from my name "Rhuyann" and the word "rubato".
In Italian, rubato means "the stolen time"
and Rhuyann still means Rhuyann, I suppose. (I don't know Italian)

Okay, rubato, as a musical term, simply means that the temporary disregarding of strict tempo to allow an expressive quickening or slackening usually without altering the overall pace.
Music-wise, it makes the music sound expressive and natural.
Me-wise, rubato is my way of living.

Sometimes I play fast
Sometimes I'm slow

Sometimes I follow
and sometimes I don't

Still at the end of the day, I don't drift away from the norm. Owing to this reason too, I don't really revise my past action 'cause so far, it works all the times.
That's the way I survive throughout the past 21 years and that's also the way I think I can play it throughout the rest of my life. The lucky star has been with me for 21 years, but recently, the star really "lak qi". (fall off, in Hokkien)

In the past 21 years, 21 years you know, I was wrong. I've totally misunderstood the real meaning of being rubato. I thought as long as I could accomplish the task on time, everyday is Sunday until I had a thump right on my face recently.

WARNING: Change~!!! Change~!!!

ww2.ramapo.edu)

I need to change the way I was.

Recalling, I was and am a last-minute person.

"Hey, how's your assignment?" "Assignment? What assignment? Har...got ar...Oh, never mind lah. Still got 4 days."

Report, last minute. Assignment, last minute. Everything, last minute.
I'm a jerk somehow. I know that I will be suffering if I don't start it early,
but my buttock skin is so thick and I just couldn't feel the pain until the fire really lit up my ass.

This semester was really a nightmare to me frankly.
I'd suffered. All the due dates were like shit trampling on me and flooding me.
Uhh...they nearly suffocated me.
What a waste if I died because of assignments.
The nation still needs me...haha

The story did not end here.

After assignments, here came the exam.
8-day study week. 1, 2, 3, 4, ..., 8. 8 days.
Many things could be done within 8 days, but...
I'd wasted half of my time swaying my limbs here and there at home,
without even a glance on the notes. Aiks, what the ...

"Time is gold"

I could deeply feel that the time was biting my spine. Though some friends of mine and I had been working together as a study group, burdens were shared, I was not able to finish the syllabus (Antimicrobial). I was left only a day to browse through the notes.
Aiks...I wished I could have more time, perhaps just one more day.

To be frank, this was the first time I felt helpless when looking at the question paper.
Hmm...Again, I wished I would have studied all these.
Err...I hope that I wouldn't fail the subject.

Luckily my EQ is not that bad, or else...

I've talked too much. It's time to bury my head back to the notes because tomorrow I have practical exam. Argh~

My house's pendaflour be my witness, I will never let it happens again next semester.

"Lastly I would like to announce that Rhuyann.blogspot.com is officially in operation."
"Applause please."
